The fast paced sales we’re seeing in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs like Bronte, Bondi Junction and Paddington show that while other areas are slowing down, the Eastern Suburbs are on the up and up.
CoreLogic RP Dad found that Bronte, Bondi Junction and Paddington properties typically sold in less than a month and that is no mean feat as prices usually start at $1 million.
Just sitting outside the 30 days sale period are suburbs like Double Bay, Rose Bay, Waverly and Vaucluse which sold faster than the national average with many properties coming in on the 32 day mark.
Property prices in Sydney’s South East in suburbs like Woollahra are not settling after the Housing Boom – rather these quick turn-arounds signify potential for price increases.
Below is a list of the fastest-selling suburbs by average number of days on the property market:
- Bronte – 20 Days
- Bondi Junction – 25 Days
- Paddington – 28 Days
- Waverly – 31 Days
- Bondi Beach – 31 days
