Palm Beach isn’t the traditional stamping ground of Chinese buyers, though LJ Hooker Palm Beach principal David Edwards believes they might make an exception for the estate of the Australian opera legend Dame Joan Sutherland at 24 Rayner Road.
“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity because it’s the largest ocean-front site on the northern beaches, so it’s pretty special.
“It will sell somewhere between $6½ [million] and $7½.” And certainly expats could be interested.
