A Milson’s Point apartment has crushed the previous price record for the suburb by more than double.
The seven bedroom, 780 square metre apartment sold for an amazing $15.6 million which is well over the last record set in June at $7.5 million.
The apartment is one of eight luxury properties at Astonia Residences and covers a whole floor with eight bathrooms, home cinema and gym.
All of the apartments have sold off-the-plan within three weeks with many buys coming from upper and lower North Shore empty nesters as well as two buyers from China.
Three weeks is a relatively short time to sell $48 million development, but the agents believe the success comes down to the quality and views over the Harbour Bridge and Lavender Bay.
