Far too often our inspectors will identify this maintenance requirement when conducting inspections. Gutter cleaning is an integral part of maintaining a home. For most of us busy homeowners, this is high on the to-do list yet it\u2019s too often overlooked, however, this issue should be addressed as a matter of importance.<\/p>\n

Many homeowners will avoid cleaning their gutters until they notice a problem or so much debris has collected and the clogged guttering has already wreaked havoc. This can result in damage to fascia, soffit, roofing and begin leaking into your home causing damage to internal walls and foundations. Apart from the above other benefits of keeping your gutters clean are to avoid nesting areas for termites, birds, mosquitoes and other insects and most importantly to maintain the value and beauty of your biggest investment. This will also help with the longevity of your home’s structure.<\/p>\n

Although cleaning gutters is a task most homeowners can do themselves, it can be dangerous work. We recommend engaging the services of a suitably experienced handyman who can maintain the cleanliness of your gutters with a regular maintenance plan to ensure that the above-mentioned risks are minimised and your gutter system will function properly as it was designed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
