In charge of this initiative is Tara Cheeseman who has been appointed Australia\u2019s first strategic smart city officer. She said of her job, &#8220;Cities, locally, nationally and abroad, are competing for top talent and trade and they must provide compelling offerings to their investors, employers, employees, patrons and residents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These plans should make for exciting times for Parramatta residents and it seems the best is yet to come as Cr Lloyd said, \u201cThere are endless possibilities of what this city can do as it evolves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The prospect of the smart city is a huge draw card for home buyers and investors.
