Around 50,000 North Shore homes and businesses are on the map to receive broadband via the National Broadband Network (NBN).
Beginning in 2017, the rollout will see construction beginning in areas like Artarmon, Chatswood, Gordon, Killara, Lindfield, Pymble and Roseville.
The roll out should be finished with connections ready to go in September 2018. Residents and business owners will then see speeds of up to 100 Megabits per second with a look to faster speeds in the future.
This will be a great boom for households located on Sydney’s North Shore as it will provide a technological edge in Sydney’s competitive real estate market.
How the NBN will improve your household:
- Home automation
- Efficiently work from home
- Video & voice calls
- Streaming video services
- Large households will be able to utilise more devices at a time with no disruption to quality or speed
- Share large files easier
Does this make buying a home in Sydney’s North Shore seem more appealing?
