We provide the following inspection services in Wagga Wagga, read a brief overview below or click through for a more detailed explanation.
A Visual Building Inspection comments on structural damage and any conditions conducive to structural damage, as well as any defects in the condition of secondary and finishing elements to the property. Your report will contain a description of the property and the materials used in construction, as well as highlighting any areas that the inspector was unable to access on the day of the inspection.
A Timber Pest Inspection or Termite Inspection entails a visual pest and termite inspection of all accessible and available areas of a property for the presence of pests, active termites and/or termite damage. The inspector will visually inspect the interior and exterior of the home or building including any accessible roof cavities & sub-floor areas.
Thermal Imaging Technology
One of the main characteristics of termites is their tendency to stay underground or within wood materials, making it almost impossible for an inspector to visually identify an active termite infestation just by looking at the exterior surface. That is why our inspectors are trained to use and read Thermal Imaging Cameras which enables them to quickly and easily identify possible termite risk areas. Read more about our termite services.
Asbestos Audit Reports & Air Monitoring
If you are purchasing a property in the Wagga Wagga region which was constructed prior to the mid 1980's then it may be prudent to have an asbestos audit carried out. An inspector will attend the property in question and complete a detailed report, with samples taken from the asbestos audit sent to an accredited NATA Laboratory for independent testing.
A Handover Report is for the purchaser of a newly constructed home and takes place prior to the purchaser taking possession of their new home. As an independent party we work for the purchaser to identify any outstanding defects and/or incomplete finishes. A handover inspection and report will highlight in more detail minor defects and imperfections as well as general building defects, and poor workmanship.
A condition report outlines the general condition of the building or property inspected (as it is on the day). The condition report takes particular notice of any visible cracks or movement within the property and includes photographic evidence alongside a detailed report
